Created from field recordings, interviews & collaborations.
No pre-made samples have been used in this composition, only field recordings and synthesis manipulation. Couztek believes in creating all sonic material by himself. You are presented with a variety of house music genres that Couztek offers to those in need of an electronic music outlet.
EP - 'One' Manifesto
The following statements listed below are an overseeing template that will guide my work, maintaining the overall objective of originality.
Field recordings must be collected with respect, nature and/or industry environments must not be manipulated to achieve a desired recording.
Field recordings must be neatly edited, named and categorised for the preservation of sound for future musicians.
All audio is to be created from scratch, no premade samples or loops are to be used in compositions.
If a factory preset is used for an effect or instrument, it must be altered.
Each track must adopt an ‘out the box’ creative idea.
Experimentation and mistakes are encouraged.
Utilise hardware available to achieve unimaginable creative ideas.
The end reward of the EP is not financial gain, the journey is the reward itself.
